Percentage of pupils aged 15 who achieved Level 2 threshold including a GCSE grade A*-C in English or Welsh first language and Mathematics.
Includes results for 15 year old pupils, in maintained schools, achieved during the academic year and any examinations taken at an earlier age. Level 2 threshold is a volume of qualifications at Level 2 equivalent to the volume of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C. This data provides information on the percentage of pupils in Year 11/aged 15 achieving the key stage 4 key indicators. From 2017, a maximum of two vocational (non-GCSE) qualifications will count towards all threshold measures, depending on size of the qualification (i.e. no more than 40% of the threshold). From 2017, literature qualifications no longer count towards the literacy elements in the Level 2 inclusive, but can still count in the non-subject specific elements. |
