Average kilowatt hours of domestic gas consumed per meter.
Domestic consumers are defined as those using less than 73,200 kWh of gas each year. Average consumption of domestic gas is calculated by the consumption of domestic gas in a local authority divided by the numbers of gas meters and then multiplied by 1,000 to get the data in kilowatt hours. For domestic gas consumption the data covers the months as follows: 2021: mid-May 2021 to mid-May 2022 2020: mid-May 2020 to mid-May 2021 2019: mid-May 2019 to mid-May 2020 2018: mid-May 2018 to mid-May 2019 2017: mid-June 2017 to mid-June 2018 2016: mid-July 2016 – mid-July 2017 Prior to 2016: October – September. |
