The rate of females admitted to hospital due to alcohol-attributable conditions per 100,000 females (European age standardised population). Alcohol-specific conditions plus conditions that are caused by alcohol in some, but not all, cases (e.g. stomach cancer and unintentional injury). For these latter conditions, different attributable fractions are used to determine the proportion related to alcohol for females. |
