Rate of theft from the person per 1,000 people. Police recorded crime data are supplied to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) by the Home Office. Theft from the person offences are those where there is no use of threat or force in the process of the theft. The rate was calculated using the previous year’s population mid-year estimate. |
